Kristin Fisher is joining CNN in 2021. She'll be CNN's Space and Defense Correspondent. In her position as the Space and Defence Correspondent for CNN, she is responsible covering everything from NASA and the newly formed Space Force up until commercial space companies, and even the advent and growth of tourism to space. Being the child of 2 NASA astronauts Kristin grew up in the space industry and worked for the past five years reporting on the Biden and Trump Administration's space policies as an White House Correspondent for FOX News. In addition to covering two presidential impeachment cases, 2020's Presidential Campaign, and the two administrations' attempts to stop the spread of coronavirus, Kristin covered a lot of other subjects. The president of the time Donald Trump traveled to Afghanistan for a restricted trip. Before joining the network in 2015, Kristin spent nearly a decade working her way up in local TV news stations including Grand Junction, Colorado; Little Rock, Arkansas; and Washington, D.C. where she won an Emmy Award as a one-man-band reporter for the Washington, D.C.'s CBS affiliate. Kristin, who is adept at filmmaking, launched Field Mouse Films, a business that specialises in documentaries, for companies such as Uber and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in journalism from Boston University. She lives in Washington, D.C. with her husband and their three year old daughter.
